The Burnout Rescheduling Script
If you’re about to burn out, it’s okay.
Here’s the script if you need help advocating for yourself:
“Hey (Name)!
I’m rescheduling our meeting for tomorrow at (x time).
There are personal urgent items that I need my attention, I hope you can understand.
(If that puts you behind a deadline/deliverable or reschedules a prospect…you then say… )
This may put us behind schedule and that way that me and my team are solving for that problem next week is….(fill in the blank)
This way, despite us not meeting, your ball is still moving forward and we’ll meet next week!”
