From growing up in an emotionally abusive home to becoming a raging alcoholic by 22, Kelly realized an undeniable truth: our lives are a direct reflection of the choices we make and the choices we tolerate from others.

She woke up one day and realized she was an alcoholic, living each day in a dead-end job and drinking enough so she could forget her life. She’s lucky she hadn’t already killed herself from more stupid decisions than anyone should have to admit. That day she made a choice: no more being that person.

It took her 10 more years to understand that the thing that hurt her most in life was the very thing that would ignite her career.

How? By harnessing the emotional intelligence she developed in childhood to stay as “safe” as possible while mostly trapped in her mother’s emotionally volatile world. It taught her to navigate life with creative communication.

Without fully understanding the connection, she turned her difficult upbringing by her borderline personality mother into a career rooted in mastering communication, connection, and emotional intelligence—skills that some people simply call “sales.”

Without a 4-year degree and with more reasons to quit than to keep going, Kelly built a 17-year career in digital marketing, known for transforming how businesses speak to their customers.

Her messaging expertise empowers businesses to bridge the gap between their offerings and their audience, driving results that resonate as much in small businesses as in Fortune 500s.
